Volunteers are an important part of the Happiness Through Horses community. Whether you enjoy spending time with animals, helping around the ranch, lending a hand at events, working in the garden, or sharing your skills behind the scenes, there are many ways to make a difference.
Every helping hand contributes to the care of our animals, the experiences we offer, and the welcoming ranch community we are building together.
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
There’s more than one way to lend a hand at HTH. Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year based on the needs of the ranch, our animals, programs, and upcoming events.
animal & ranch care
Help support the day-to-day needs of the ranch and the animals who call HTH home. Opportunities may include feeding, cleaning, general animal care, and other ranch tasks based on experience and current needs.
Programs & Events
Help us create welcoming experiences for participants, families, and guests by assisting with program activities, event preparation, setup, cleanup, hospitality, and other event-day needs.
Gardens & Grounds
Pitch in with seasonal gardening, watering, weeding, planting, cleanup, and other projects that help keep the ranch grounds welcoming and cared for.
Behind-the-Scenes Support
Not every volunteer role happens at the ranch. From administrative projects, communications, and social media to fundraising, outreach, and special projects, there may be opportunities to put your professional or creative skills to work for HTH.
